Chole spinach

Ingredients:

Serving size: 6          Preparation time: 2 mins               Cooking time: 8 mins

2 packages(9 oz) of frozen spinach in creamy style, thawed
1 can(10 oz) of chickpeas(cooked)
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 medium sized onion diced
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Method:

In a large saucepan over medium heat, pour oil and fry diced onions.
Add turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and salt to it.
When the diced onions turn golden brown, add chickpeas and thawed spinach.
Stir it and put the lid on, cook for 15mins.
Add garam masala powder, stir it, put the lid back on and cook for another 5 mins.
Serve hot with roti,naan and rice as well.
